Salutations, Reachers! I am Carb Uncle, a person that is very much an uncle who has a history with many things carb-related, be it pasta, gemstones, or even a fondness for a certain mythological creature of American folklore. While I am also an active member of the Horizon Guild dabbling in diplomacy and various aspects of the game, I am also the admin of the Presstige social guild in Stars Reach as well as admin of this website currently before you. This group and site’s designed purpose is to engage and inform those in our growing community about various things going on related to the community abroad. Other groups can and will focus on game updates as well as dev interviews and the like, but here with Presstige, you the players are the stars that light the cosmos far and wide!
The plan for the moment is that I’m going to work on stability for the website, as it took me over nine hours to do a 10 minute tutorial according to AWS to set this up due to an issue with namecheap’s DNS setup that Google-fu helped me correct much later on, and also to consult with people within the community to spruce the place up as we reach March 26th and the Kickstarter comes to a close. I’d like to allow other players interested with the in-game journalism profession a chance to step up and be contributors or even authors / editors for content here in the future highlighting going ons withing the community like artwork, screenshots, interviews, promoting content creators in general and very much culture within the game itself as time goes on.
